On May 1, 2021, Dr. Prophetess launched her first book, Behind The Prophetess’ Mask. On July 14, 2021, Prophetess received The Firebird Award for her book in three categories: Christian Non-fiction, Motivational & Inspiration, and Self-Help.
Dr. Prophetess Martha Thompson was born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in West New York, New Jersey, by her deaf parents and three brothers. She was born to two deaf parents and still is the family interpreter. In 1995, she began her career as a correctional police officer for The New Jersey Department of Corrections and completed her twenty-five years of law enforcement service in 2021.
Prophetess Martha Thompson began her spiritual journey in 2001 under the leadership of Pastor David Cawston at Christian Life Center in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, where the Lord launched the deaf ministry and where she interpreted for the deaf and hearing community for seven years. In 2007, she received her Associated Applied Science degree in American Sign Language/English Interpreting from Community College of Philadelphia.
In 2008, the Lord transitioned her to The Love Fellowship Tabernacle, which she previously attended, where she led under the leadership of Bishop Hezekiah Walker for eight years. This is where her intense training began for her life in the kingdom of God. The anointing and impartation birthed many spiritual gifts. In 2016, the Lord shifted Prophetess Thompson to New Jersey under the supernatural/miraculous apostolic/prophetic anointing ministry of Apostle Anthony J. Parker Sr. and Dr. Sarah Parker at Refreshing Life Praise Cathedral in Riverside, New Jersey for four years.
November 17, 2018, she was ordained as a Prophetess/Exhorter/Minister of the Gospel on December 31, 2021, along with her husband Charles as pastors to begin Thompson Ministries. On August 20, 2022, Martha was ordained into the Doctorate of Divinity.
Dr. Prophetess Martha Thompson is married to her wonderful husband, Apostle Charles T. Thompson, who supports her dearly. She has seven children and six grandchildren whom she dearly loves and adores.
